NCC Orchestra Winter Praises Concert

The Northern California Conference Orchestra held a Winter Praises Concert on December 17th in the Moriah Heights Auditorium!

Musicians from all of the NCC gathered to praise the Lord with their instruments, as well as provide a message of hope through music to the community in Amador County!

The concert began with a few pieces from the Junior Strings Orchestra, a group of young musicians that are just starting to learn to play instruments such as violin, viola, and cello. Following this, the rest of the NCC Symphonic Orchestra, led by Br William Santos, filled the Auditorium with beautiful music!

Some of the repertoire included:

  • The Holy City arr. Marty Hamby

  • You Are My All in All arr. David Winkler

  • Doxology arr. Keith Christopher

  • He Leadeth Me arr. Jeff Cranfill

  • and more!

It was truly a blessing to see this wonderful orchestra, having started with only a handful of musicians 15 years ago, develop into a means of spreading the love and joy of the Gospel through song! The NCC Orchestra has over 50 members and over 13 different instrument sections. We pray that the Lord will continue to bless the efforts of the orchestra and music department to be a missionary tool, bringing music to the ears of all of God’s children!
